After being in Michigan a couple weekends ago enjoying the brisk 60/70 degree weather, I'm not gonna lie, coming back home to Texas was a struggle. I stepped out of the Austin airport into the gross, muggy death heat that I blissfully had forgotten about for a few days. Now that I'm back, I've resorted to just sticking with rompers for awhile--they're quick to slip on and require little to no effort for outfit planning in the mornings. This one was absolutely an impulse buy from Target last year--I remember it well: I was about to leave for my 6 week trip to Europe and walked to Target (oh yeah, I live walking distance away from Target, and yes, it's dangerous) with the intention of buying a couple last-minute items, but as we all know, Target has no respect for your "just a couple things" shopping list. I walked out with this romper, thinking, Oh this will be perrrfect for Europe! I'll definitely wear it all the time. And that was the end of that. I'm pretty sure I only wore it once--maaaybe twice--while I was abroad. Side note: I just realized after writing out my outfit details that these shoes were also an impulse buy when I went into Target to buy a Father's Day card a couple weeks ago. Target: 2, Rachel: 0.
