To any millennial women out there reading this -- do y'all remember back in high school during the Hollister & Abercrombie era when short denim mini-skirts were all the rage? I NEVER had one... I kept thinking about buying one, but I felt so out of place in them! Now I realize all that was missing was a longer hem line & more buttons. The rose patches are what convinced me to get this skirt though; it's so different than the usual skirts in my closet (none of which have ever been denim btw, so this is a first for the blog)!
I'm not gonna lie, y'all, I REALLY like this outfit --so much so that I can already tell it's gonna be on my 2018 Best Dressed list. It just looks very "Austin" to me & I'm not sure why. Maybe it's the cactus print? I saw a tweet the other day that read, "Why does everyone who lives in Austin have a cactus emoji in their insta bio?" And I legit could not think of a reason... and I'm one of those people! I know we have an affinity for desert plants here, but that's about it. Austinites reading this, am I missing something??
