Last week I took a trip up to Seabrook, New Hampshire where Matthew's family just happened to be renting a beach house during my visit (lucky me!). My thought process for deciding what to pack went something like, "Okay, a week at the beach - that means pack shorts/skirts, tanks, and swimsuits. Done." But of course, things didn't work out the way I had planned at all. It was so cold (cold to me is anything below 70 degrees by the way). Even when the sun managed to come out on some days, I was still shivering! New England loves to torture me.
So, none of my skirts, tanks nor my swimsuits ever left my suitcase. Thankfully, I had brought 2 long sleeve shirts, 1 pair of pants, 1 pair of long shorts, and 1 jacket to keep me covered. These 5 items are basically all I wore over the week which will be made evident over my next couple posts (so be excited for more of these white pants! :P). Regardless, I enjoyed remixing these few basic pieces into outfits I could definitely see myself wearing again. I just hope that next time I'll be smart enough to bring more than 1 pair of pants (you would think I'd have this packing thing down by now, but nope).
